Daily Care

This texture requires consistent moisture. Lightly mist with water and apply a curl-defining cream or leave-in conditioner as needed.
Use your fingers to separate curls and maintain definition. Avoid excessive brushing, which can disrupt the curl pattern.

Detangling

Never detangle dry hair. Always dampen the hair with water or leave-in conditioner first. Use a wide-tooth comb, denman brush, or your fingers, starting from the ends and working upward to the roots. Because of the tighter curl pattern, shedding may appear more noticeable. Gentle detangling helps reduce unnecessary tension.

Washing

Wash when curls begin to feel dry, tangled, or heavily coated with product.
Co-wash every 2–3 weeks at minimum, or more frequently depending on product usage. Use sulfate-free and alcohol-free products to maintain moisture and preserve the curl pattern. Allow hair to air dry to preserve curl structure. If using a blow dryer, use a diffuser on low to medium heat.

Bedtime

Divide hair into sections and loosely twist or braid to reduce tangling.
Protect hair with a satin bonnet or scarf while sleeping. In the morning, gently separate curls with your fingers and apply a light moisturizing product if  needed.
